Edible Communities

Edible Communities celebrates local food, season by season, community by community. With a network of more than 90 independently-owned, locally-focused magazines and websites across the U.S. and Canada, we are the largest media organization devoted to telling the stories and sustaining the efforts of the farmers, chefs, food artisans, fishers, vintners and home cooks who feed us.

Prayer: May all I say and all I think be in harmony with thee, God within me, God beyond me, maker of the trees. - Chinook prayer, Pacific Northwest Coast, North America

Prayer: Dona Nobis Pacem refrain: Give us peace, God, peace for all, like a river running freely. God of nearness, God of life, you are with us; we rejoice. Set us free, God, from mindless ways; guide us in pursuing good. You renew us with great love; God among us: this our joy! Be our breath, God, deep and pure; feed our hunger for your truth.
